Dear Grove Patterson Academy Families,

I am pleased to welcome you back to the 2020-21 school year! I would like to extend a special welcome to all of the new families joining The Academy this year and welcome back all of our returning families as well! I am honored to be your principal. Our goal at Grove Patterson Academy is to work together to provide our students with a rich learning environment. My vision, as the principal, is to ALWAYS put kids first and make decisions that are in the best interest of the student! My belief is that all students can and will learn given the proper positive, safe, warm, and supportive learning environment. 

Student success is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community and this is MOST important now more than ever. It truly does take a village and at GPA we value teamwork and collaboration! Education is a joint venture and GPA appreciates the support you provide for your children at home and at school to help them meet their learning goals.  Without the support of parent contributions through our extraordinary PTO, we would not have many of the programs that make Grove Patterson Academy so unique and successful. 

Although this year looks different than any other year, we are dedicated to providing your child(ren) a memorable, interactive, engaging distance learning experience. If you have not already done so, please download the Grove Patterson Academy App from the App store for important updates.   Please make sure to take advantage of all of the avenues of communication that we offer.

• To start, the Grove Patterson Academy website is full of great information and we urge you to check the website often for news and updates.

• Make sure to check your email regularly!  We send the vast majority of our communications home via email and our GPA App.

• This school year I will be sending out a weekly newsletter.   All GPA families will receive a weekly email to urge you to read the newsletter.  This is our primary mode of communicating important announcements and event information to parents, and we appreciate you taking the time to "stay in the loop!”

We hope you will find that Grove Patterson Academy is truly a place where learning is joyful and children delight in coming to school. Let’s make it a great year!
